Kylie chats to Ricky Wilson about her new album and difficult year, during which she became single

Kylie was hard at work on her 12th studio album, while Andrés was pursuing his dream of becoming an actor. After a year of change, Kylie said spending New Year's Eve alone made for "the best I’d ever had” and helped her reflect and enter 2014 calm and confident and ready to try new things. Her title track from the album, Kiss Me Once, reflected a new state of mind for the pop beauty and her plans “to go into the future with abandon”.She added: "I had an epiphany, a true epiphany. I thought that I needed to change and do things differently. It was one of the reasons I signed onto The Voice. I didn’t want to do the same things round and round and become a parody of myself. I want to try new experiences."
