Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh showed her support for musician husband Professor Green on Thursday as he was banned from driving for 12 months and fined a total of £525. After pleading guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol the star was charged £400 plus a £40 court surcharge and £85 in other costs. He may be able to lower his period away from getting behind the wheel to nine months if he takes an awareness course on the DUI. Professor Green said he would take part in the programme – likely to focus on the effects of drunk driving and last a few days - as wife Millie watched on at the court appearance.
The Quality Street confectionary heiress showed up at Bromley Magistrates Court - matching his black suit and T-shirt outfit with a pair of leather trousers, pointed heels and a trilby hat - as her spouse was accused of drunk driving. Both covered their eyes from onlookers with dark sunglasses as they went inside following his various brand endorsement deals being dropped as a result of his legal troubles.
However he looked in good spirits when Millie shared a snap of him on Instagram that afternoon cuddling a dog. The duo were also seen preparing to move into their new home.
The alleged incident took place last November and only emerged when police officers investigated reports that a man had been robbed in London’s Lewisham area in the early hours of the morning. The victim turned out to be the star who claimed his £40,000 Rolex watch had been stolen during a mugging.
Law enforcement officers found a Mercedes vehicle had a collision with a van and took the star – whose real name is Stephen Manderson – into custody on suspicion of consuming an amount of alcohol over the UK limit. Millie, short for Camilla, found fame on her Channel 4 reality show in 2011 but she has since moved on to other career ventures. She married Professor Green September 2013 at Babington House in Somerset, England.
