Amanda Bynes looking happy and healthy post rehab

Amanda Bynes has made a fresh start since leaving rehab last year. The 27-year-old actress had spent five months in a Malibu treatment facility, after being involuntarily hospitalised for a mental evaluation.In the latest photos she shared on Twitter, Amanda looks fantastic and back to her old self.

The California-based student, who is studying at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, posted snaps from an evening affair organised by the fashion school.

Posing alongside her parents Rick and Lynn in one photo, Amanda was elegantly dressed in beige, high-waisted trousers and a black sleeveless top.

The blonde beauty smiled out at the camera and looked proud to have her family around her, as she celebrated the start of her new course with the caption, "#FIDMDEBUT". Amanda looked gorgeous with her blonde locks styled into curls, a fresh change to her previous platinum blonde shade and at one point, streaked blue wig.

Her fans were excited to see Amanda back on top form, leaving comments such as "Happy, happy, happy for you! Did I mention I was happy for you?" and another writing "So proud of you, you look great seriously omg." Amanda shared another snapshot of her and her mother, which again proved a hit with her followers. The former Nickelodeon child star leaned in for a selfie with her proud mum, simply captioning the image, "Xoxo."

When she reached her worst point last year, Amanda hit headlines for openly criticising family members on Twitter, as well as celebrities such as Rihanna and Drake.

Amanda is detained for mental health evaluation

In August, her mum Lynn took temporary conservatorship over Amanda — meaning that she gained control of the actress' finances and other aspects of her personal life. "Both my husband and I love Amanda very much and we know that she will get through this situation," Lynn told People at the time that her daughter was in rehab.Amanda had originally been detained under the 5150 order after an incident near her parents' home in July, when she was accused of being drunk, trespassing and starting a fire in the grounds of a retirement community in Thousand Oaks, California.When Amanda came out of rehab last December, she revealed that she was "doing very well" and was living with her parents in Los Angeles.
