Mick Jagger planning intimate LA funeral for L'Wren with help of his eldest daughter Karis

Grieving musician Mick Jagger is planning to say his final farewells to L'Wren Scott at an intimate funeral, which is said to be taking place in the next couple of days.Sources in the US are reporting that the Rolling Stone has been making arrangements while staying at the California home of his eldest daughter Karis.

The 43-year-old mother-of-two lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children. She is Mick's daughter from a relationship with model with Marsha Hunt – though the musician only confirmed his paternity when Karis was 12.The brunette Yale graduate has been spotted visiting memorial parks in Hollywood with her father, helping him search for a final resting place for his late girlfriend. Other family members are said to have gathered at Karis' home to comfort Mick as he goes about the difficult task of finalising funeral plans for L'Wren.

The fashion designer's coffin has been taken from Manhattan and is now on the way to LA. Its final destination is reportedly the Hollywood Forever Funeral Home and Cemetery – the final resting place of actors such as Rudolph Valentino and Estelle Getty.

The Rolling Stone has been left heart-broken after his fashion designer love commited suicide.

Jade Jagger has also arrived in California on a flight from London Haethrow. The pregnant jewellery designer was seen boarding the plane with her DJ husband Adrian Fillary.

Supporting the singer at the service will be his children Lizzie, Georgia May and James – who are thought to be staying with him at Karis' home.
