Fashion designer L’Wren Scott has been laid to rest at a small, private funeral in Los Angeles.The intimate funeral took place at the Hollywood Forever Funeral Home and Cemetery, and security patrolled the area to ensure L’Wren’s family and friends’ privacy.
L'Wren ScottAmong the reportedly 70 friends and family attending the ceremony were close friends of Ms Scott from the fashion industry and her company, including her long-time assistant, Brittany Penebre, who discovered her employer’s body.
L’Wren’s long-term partner Mick Jagger was accompanied to the funeral by his children and his grand-daughter Amba Jackson, Jade’s daughter.
L’Wren’s body had been flown from Manhattan to Los Angeles earlier this week, as Mick, who was staying at the California home of his eldest daughter Karis, made arrangements with L'Wren's brother Randall Bambrough.
The American designer was found dead in her New York apartment last week.

Mick and the Rolling Stones cancelled their Australian tour when they heard the news, and Mick has spent the last week at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
The 49-year-old was found by her assistant inside the Eighth Floor apartment around 10am New York time, and there was no suspicion of foul play.
