One of the ‘90s most loved supermodels, Elle Macpherson turns 50 today.
To celebrate this milestone birthday, HELLO! Online take a look at Elle’s stars and found out what Ariens have in store today…
Back in May 2010, the planet Uranus entered Aries, where it will remain until March 2019. When a slow moving outer planet makes a transit of such a long duration, astrologers interpret it as being significant for the whole world, rather than for one particular sign. But special circumstances apply now. April's Cardinal Grand Cross speaks of a glorious awakening to a new possibility. The whole of the rest of your life can change for the better as a result of the developments that occur and the decisions you make this month. To celebrate the supermodel's milestone birthday, HELLO! Online has compiled a gallery of her fashion over the years.
Born in 1964, Australian Elle moved to New York City to model for the year and save money for law school back in Sydney. She only completed a year of law school before her first television commercial in 1982 which established Elle as a girl next door.By the mid ‘80s Elle had landed on the cover of Cosmopolitan, GQ and Vogue, and cemented her status as the IT model by appearing in every issue of Elle for six straight years.
Elle soon became known as The Body thanks to Time Magazine, and by the early ‘90s Elle, along with Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Pavlina Porizkova had become a part of the new generation of supermodel.
Elle returned to the catwalk in 2010 closing the fall Louis Vuitton show in Paris for Marc Jacobs, before later going on to host Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model for four years before its cancellation in 2013.
