Born in 1969, one of Paul Rudd’s earliest big screen appearances was in the 1996 teen classic Clueless. But it was in the 2000s when he first found fame, as Phoebe Buffay’s boyfriend, and later, husband, in the smash hit US television show FRIENDS.
The 45-year-old is also a theatre actor, and first starred on Broadway in 1997 in The Last Night of Ballyhoo. He has gone on to star in Twelfth Night, and Three Days of Rain with Julia Roberts and Bradley Cooper.
Late in 2013 Marvel announced that Paul would star in director Edgar Wright’s adaptation of the comic Ant-Man, which will be released in July 2015.
