Jessie J says her bisexuality was just “a phase” and she wants to marry a man now she realises she is straight.

The 26-year-old singer spoke in a fresh interview about her feelings towards the opposite sex after previously insisting she was drawn to both males and females romantically. Jessie admits that although she was not bisexual after all, it doesn’t mean others are simply experimenting with same-sex relationships.

Jessie J says she is now straight

“For me, it was a phase,” she told the Mirror newspaper. “But I’m not saying bisexuality is a phase for everybody. “I feel that if I continue my career not speaking on it, I almost feel more of a liar than if I didn’t. I just want to be honest, and it’s really not a big deal. Who cares?”Jessie recently spoke out about how she was exploring her Christian faith further and would be injecting the messages into her music. She added in the new chat that she was not judging anyone who wasn’t straight and wants to move on from discussing the topic until she is wed.

Jessie J hit back the response to her interview on Twitter below:

“I did talk about it, and I was open about it, and I do support being lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender - love who you want. That’s what I’m doing,” she continued. “I don’t regret anything I ever said, but I never knew back then that whatever I said became a fact that I couldn’t change. I’m just so bored of it, and that’s kind of it – I want to stop talking about it completely now and find myself a husband.”

The star, who used to be a judge on the UK's The Voice, added that she was more in tune with TV shows and movies she’d seen growing up.

She adds: “It’s a true struggle. All the chick flicks that didn’t make sense to me, I now understand – Sex and the City is real!“I’m aware of who I want to be and I want to marry a man. That’s it.”
