To this point, there aren't many famous females who are not friends with Taylor Swift. She is close with all kinds of starlets, from models to musicians and movie stars - and this week she headed out with one of her celebrity BFFs, Cara Delevingne.

The two women were spotted out on a shopping trip together in New York this week, hanging out in the Meatpacking District of the city as they hit the stores.

The two friends showed off their very different styles as they stepped out together. Taylor, 24, went for girly glamour, choosing a sweet and summery dress that showed off her endless legs.

She teamed her monochrome short-sleeved dress, which was cinched in at the waist, with a pair of lace up booties and styled her hair in loose waves accessorised by a thin gold headband. A slick of red lipstick completed her look.

In contrast, British beauty Cara, 21, stuck to her signature grungy style. She chose baggy black-and-white trousers, a white t-shirt, maroon jacket and blue high-top sneakers, her hair wore down around her face.

The pair become close following Taylor’s performance at the Victoria's Secret show in November. Taylor took to Twitter following her performance to share a snapshot of her with Lily Aldridge, Cara and Erin Heatherton with the caption, "The best things always happen on the 13th! Best friends forever."
