Naya Rivera and Big Sean won't be tying the knot after all. Just six months after the couple confirmed their engagement, Big Sean has decided to call the whole thing off. "After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off," his representative confirmed to US media, before denying recent reports in Star magazine that Sean had cheated on Naya.
"The recent rumours and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply not true. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter.
"But it seems the split has already turned nasty. In a tweet posted on Wednesday - which was later deleted - the Glee actress accused her former fiancé of stealing from her."@bigsean stealing rolexes from a lady’s house now. Maybe cuz I'm on Glee and making more money or something. #triflin," she wrote.
Sources told TMZ that the watch in question actually belonged to Sean, who gave it to Naya to borrow but not to keep. He has not responded to her deleted tweet.
The couple got engaged last October, just six months after going public with their romance.
Although they didn't reveal a wedding date, the 27-year-old actress was seen shopping for a wedding dress shortly after news of their engagement broke.
Naya recently told Cosmopolitan for Latinas in its Spring 2014 issue that she believed Sean 22, would make "an amazing husband" and a "great father"
"He's so kind to people, but he wears the pants in our relationship, which I love," she said. "We Latinas are very independent and strong, so it's even sweeter that I've found somebody who can let me out of that role for a minute."
