Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie weren't exaggerating when they said their split was amicable.
The pair have been seen together on a number of occasions since announcing their separation — just this week they were seen visiting a Chanel store in Beverly Hills together, where they seemed particularly affectionate, cuddling up and leaning on each other.
Now there is speculation that Hilary and Mike, parents to two-year-old son Luca, are getting their romance back on track.
According to Radar Online, the couple have decided to call of their divorce after spending a romantic Valentine's Day holiday together in the Bahamas.
An insider reported that the February trip was intended to be a time for them to discuss splitting their assets and sorting out custody arrangements for Luca — but they instead agreed to work on their marriage. "Once they were together with their son Luca in the Caribbean, it got emotional and real," the source said. "Mike broke down and begged Hilary for a second chance."
And although Hilary, 26, was initially unsure, it seems she has had a change of heart when it comes to her husband, 33."They've been meeting for hookups ever since, and Hilary's softened and the two of them are moving forward to see if they can work it out. "Hilary's one stipulation is that Mike step up to full-time parenting duties while she works on her new TV show and her music career."
Hilary started dating Canadian ice hockey star Mike in 2007. They announced their engagement in February 2010 and were married on 14 August that same year. Son Luca was born in March 2012.
In January, the couple announced that they had separated but would continue to co-parent their little boy. "Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have mutually decided to an amicable separation," the actress' rep said in a statement at the time. "They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time."
