"He and their two sons have been staying with his parents since the tragedy and he doesn't want to return home – certainly not at the moment, anyway. "Peaches was found at her home in Kent last Monday at around 1.35pm after her husband alerted the police when she didn't answer her mobile phone.

The couple's eldest child, Astala, was with Thomas at the time, while their 11-month-old was at home with Peaches.

Rock singer Thomas said after his wife's death: "My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons. I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever."

The couple were married four months short of two years - HELLO! covered the couple's wedding on 8 September 2012 when they married at the same church in Kent where Peaches' parents wed 26 years earlier, and where her mother Paula Yates' 2000 funeral was held.Peaches' father Bob Geldof paid a heartfelt tribute to his daughter following the announcement of her tragic death. "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain," he said. "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and most bonkers of us all. "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?"We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is."
