Grief stricken father Bob Geldof is due to lead the tributes to his late daughter Peaches Geldof at her funeral Easter Monday. The musician and activist will speak at a private memorial at the St Mary Magdalene and St Lawrence Church in Davington, near Faversham, the same church where the 25-year-old was married to Thomas Cohen two years ago.

The small ceremony will be attended by close friends and family, by private invitation only. It's not known if there will also be a burial or cremation. Those attending - stars expected among the group include U2 singer Bono and Annie Lennox - will be able to gather at Sir Bob's family home and use a side gate to enter the church, away from the gaze of photographers and media.

Peaches' sister Pixie will also say a few words at the memorial, if she feels able to cope on Monday morning.

As the family prepare to make their final farewells, comes the news that widowed Tom, father to Peaches' babies Astala and Phaedra is reportedly preparing to put the couple's family home on the market.

The Sunday People claims that the musician, who is struggling to come to terms with his wife's sudden death, has told friends of his intentions. "Tom has said that he can't return to the house, he wants to immediately sell the place and move," a source told the publication. "It is just too heartbreaking for him to live in the house that his beloved wife died. He has some very happy memories of living there with Peaches and bringing up their babies but it's so, so painful for him to think about living there now."

Peaches tragically passed away on 7 April and the cause of her death is not yet officially known, however the ambulance services have described it as "sudden death".
