Paul Walker's daughter Meadow shared a touching photograph of herself with the late star as she joined the world of social media on Sunday. The 15-year-old recently decided to open accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter — and her profile picture for each is a sentimental back-and-white shot of her with her father.
In the photo, Paul and his only child are sat side-by-side and looking into each other's eyes. The Fast & Furious star, who was tragically killed in a car crash in November, has his arm protectively wrapped around his little girl.Meadow has yet to post on any of her social media accounts, which have been activated to "combat imposter profiles," Paul's team have said. "To combat the imposter profiles that are continually created, we have launched three official profiles for Paul Walker's daughter," a message read. "Any other profiles you may find on social networks are not associated with Meadow or Paul — Team PW."
While Meadow has yet to post anything, Paul's co-star Vin Diesel took to Facebook recently to share a photograph of himself with Paul's two brothers — believed to be on the set of the new Fast & Furious film— along with his recollection of the moment he heard his friend had passed away. "When I heard the news, I left the production, grabbed a plane and took my family and Michelle (Rodriguez) back to LA… drove directly to his parents' house," he wrote. "His father said, Paul loved you Vin… I awkwardly and nervously said, aw come on… then he said… you don't have to get along every second to love each other…so true."
He added, "P.s After spending time with his biological brothers, I must say to the parents, you raised some great kids." Last week, Fast & Furious 7 producers confirmed that Paul's two brothers Cody and Caleb will fill in for the late actor in order to complete some of his unfinished scenes for the film, which recently resumed filming. " The Fast & Furious saga is about family," a message posted on the film's official Facebook page read. "The characters are connected by the bond of family, and it is how all of us who have worked together for more than thirteen years feel about each other. It certainly defines how we feel about our fans.
"Paul had already shot his dramatic scenes and most of his action for Fast & Furious 7, and it's among the strongest work of his career." We have resumed shooting and now welcome Paul's brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our Fast family. Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production. Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us too."
