Niall Horan is no stranger to hopping over to Spain to watch football matches, and on his latest trip to Madrid, the One Direction star enjoyed the game alongside royalty.
The Irish-born singer was spotted in the same box as the future king of Spain Prince Felipe and his wife Princess Letizia. Sporting an LA Lakers basketball cap and a grey top and jeans, Niall looked relaxed as he soaked in the vibrant atmosphere at the Champions League semi-final.

The stadium was packed out with fans supporting Chelsea and Atletico Madrid, with Niall given a warm welcome by the Spanish team's president Enrique Cerezo. "Thanks @NiallOfficial for the visit! We'll see you in July with @OneDirection!" ;) #UCL," a Twitter photo of the pair was captioned, in which Niall and Enrique hold up an Atletico football shirt.

The Kiss You singer looked to have enjoyed the game, much like Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia. The Spanish royals were pictured on the edge of their seats, with Felipe gasping and clasping his hands to his mouth as he cheered on his team.

Prior to Monday's match, Niall had travelled to nearby Barcelona to catch another game the night before. The blonde heartthrob was clearly ecstatic to have met FB Barcelona forward Lionel Messi as he posted a photo of the pair on his Instagram page.
"Great day at the Barcelona game! INCREDIBLE to meet the best footballer in the world! @leomessi ! What a guy!" he wrote.

As a keen football fanatic, Derby County fan Niall has organised a celebrity charity match to raise money for Irish Autism Action and UK Heart and Minds Challenge. The game — dubbed The Niall Horan Charity Football Challenge — will take place on 26 May at the King Power Stadium, home of Leicester City Football Club.
Bandmates Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, Olly Murs and Rod Stewart are just some of the stars who will be joining Niall on his team. They will take on former Derby County captain Robbie Savage's team.
