David Cameron was every inch the doting dad on Tuesday as he took his little girl Florence on the school run. The British Prime Minister was seen carrying his daughter on top of his shoulders as they walked through London to head to nursery, the politician toting his offspring’s yellow and white striped bag. The 47-year-old was spotted in a suit as his three-year-old child was dressed in the uniform of a navy blue dress, tights and a cardigan.

At one point, Mr Cameron looked down at his feet as Florence joked around and covered his eyes with her hands. Onlookers seemed obvious to the Prime Minister, crossing their paths as he walked through the streets and dodged traffic with his little one in his arms. It comes as the capital city experiences a Tube strike on London Underground. He tweeted his discontent with workers’ action that day.

The Prime Minister and his wife recently chose Spanish island Lanzarote for their family Easter holiday. He spent the break in a low-key resort in Playa Blanca on the southern tip of the island with Samantha and their three children Nancy, Arthur and Florence. With temperatures of 22°C and white sand beaches at their fingertips, the couple look to be getting into sunny holiday mode, as they were pictured sipping coffee on a café terrace by the beach in the popular resort of Teguise, which was once the capital of the island.
