Hilary Duff admits she's unsure of future with Mike Comrie at iHeartRadio Music Awards 2014

Hilary Duff has admitted she and her estranged husband don’t know what their future looks like.The former Disney's Lizzie Macguire star split from NHL star Mike Comrie earlier this year and her former flame Aaron Carter has expressed his interest in dating her again. However Hilary is regularly seen with her spouse and admits they aren’t certain of what’s to come for them romantically.

"We're constantly seen together and people are like, 'What are they doing? Are they back together? Are they not?' We're really good friends and we have so much respect for each other and obviously Luca is our No. 1 priority," she told E! News. "I think we got to a point where we were like, we really need to honour happiness and whatever that is and however we need to sort that out or work that out, we're doing that.”

While some separated families hold it together for their young members, Hilary says that she and her hockey player ex partner socialise because they still like each other as friends.Speaking at the iHeartRadio Awards inside the Shrine Auditorium on in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, Hilary shared that they could take it further but are seeing how it goes for now.“We love each other so much and we love spending time together,” she continued. “So when you see us out it's not just for Luca, it's because we make plans and we hang out and we don't know what our future looks like right now but we're both doing really good and just figuring out what makes us happy.
