Reports that Kim Kardashian has secretly tied the knot have been put to bed by the lady herself. Whilst walking the red carpet at the Met Ball, the reality TV beauty told a reporter: "Still Kim. Mrs West soon."
The 33-year-old will tie the knot with Kanye West on 24 May in Paris, and she was overheard telling Vogue's contributing editor Andre Leon Talley that she has picked out her final wedding dress. "I tried on quite a few, (then I) narrowed it down," she said, according to US Weekly.
Kim didn't reveal which designer would be making the special dress, though it's been reported that she has opted for Lanvin. She is said to be working with the French fashion house's designer Alber Elbaz to create her dream dress.
Lanvin is certainly one of Kim's go to dressmakers – the midnight blue creation she wore for the Met ball was made by Alber, who was also behind the tuxedo worn by her fiancé Kanye West at the event.
Kim looked stunning in the bespoke satin gown, which featured a sweetheart neckline and a thigh high split that showed off her toned legs to perfection. In addition, the strapless dress in which she was pictured on the cover of Vogue was also Lanvin, and Kim has been seen recently visiting Lanvin stores in New York and Paris.
Israeli designer Alber has confessed to being a fan of the star's show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, telling the Wall Street Journal: "At 10pm at night, all I want to do is come home and watch Kim Kardashian get a haircut." Other designers being touted in Kim's final list for her big day include Givenchy, Balmain, Giambattista Valli and Monique Lhuillier.
