"Good Morning," Beyoncé captioned the first image of the pair, which showed the star and her sibling posing with their arms wrapped around each other's waist.
The following three photos were left uncaptioned but showed Beyoncé and Solange in high spirits. In one particularly tender snap, the pair are pictured hugging on stage at this year's Coachella festival after Beyoncé had made a surprise appearance at her sister's gig.

The publication of the Instagram photos was Beyoncé's first reference to her relationship with her younger relative since the family row, which happened in the lift of the Standard Hotel in New York City after the Met Gala. The leaked footage showed Solange, Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z leaving a party when Solange verbally and physically attacked her brother-in-law. The rapper was seen fending off Solange, who was held back by a bodyguard, while Beyoncé stood by and hesitated to intervene.

It is not yet clear what caused the altercation and there has been no comment from representatives of any of the parties involved. The hotel are investigating how the video was obtained and said in a statement that they would punish any members of staff who were found responsible for leaking the clip. The day after the CCTV footage was released, Beyoncé made every effort to put on a united front with her husband as the couple stepped out to watch a basketball game in the Big Apple.
