Beyoncé Knowles, her sister Solange and her husband Jay Z have been pictured together for the first time since video footage emerged of a family row which took place in a hotel lift on the evening of the Met Gala. The trio put on a united front during a family day out in New Orleans, attended by Beyoncé and Solange's mother Tina as well as Solange's boyfriend Alan Ferguson. Jay and Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy and Solange's nine-year-old son Daniel were also in tow for the family lunch on Saturday.

In one of several snaps Beyoncé shared on her Tumblr page, the family are captured smiling happily in a courtyard restaurant. The idyllic scene is a far cry from the footage leaked from a hotel recently in which Solange was seen attacking Jay Z. Fans the world over were shocked when images of the 29-year-old being held back by a bodyguard in the lift of The Standard Hotel were released.

Beyoncé, who did not get involved in the incident, has since revealed in a statement that the pair "have both apologised to each other"."As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it," read the statement.

"The statement came after The Standard Hotel confirmed that it had identified and fired the employee who leaked the security camera clip of Solange Knowles' scuffle with Jay Z.
