Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's upcoming wedding has brought most of the Kardashian clan to Paris this week. However, there's one member of the famous family who will be noticeably absent from the celebrity nuptials — Brody Jenner.

The Hills star has decided not to attend the wedding because his girlfriend of seven-months Kaitlynn Carter was not invited, US Weekly reports.

According to several insiders, not all invitees were given a plus-one for the celebrations, including Kim's step-brother.

Although Brody will be missing in action, his brother Brandon Jenner and wife Leah will be flying out to Paris, as will the boys' father Bruce Jenner.

Bruce was seen jetting out of LAX on Tuesday, enroute to Europe. Despite splitting from Kim's mum Kris Jenner earlier this year, he will still be walking Kim down the aisle on her special day — just as he did at her 2011 nuptials to Kris Humphries.

The wedding looks set to be a star-studded affair. Guests are expected to include Serena Williams, Brittny Gastineau, Larsa and Scottie Pippen, Carmelo and La La Anthony and Kim's best friend Jonathan Cheban —  there are also reports that Jay Z and Beyoncé Knowles could attend.

There is still great deal of speculation about where the wedding will take place. It is expected that Kim and Kanye will have their first celebrations in Paris followed by another wedding ceremony in Florence, Italy.

"Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have decided to let their guests discover the Château of Versailles during a private surprise tour on Friday, May 23, the eve of their wedding," read a statement by the couple and officials at the Louis XIV estate.

Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for the Mayor of Florence has confirmed that Kim and Kanye had rented out the Forte Belvedere for £243,000 and would be tying the knot there. She added that a protestant minister would preside over the ceremony.
