England captain Steven Gerrard and his wife Alex have given their only family interview before the World Cup in HELLO! magazine this week. In adorable exclusive pictures with their daughters Lilly-Ella, 10, Lexie, eight, and Lourdes, three — or the 'three lionesses' as Steven calls them — the Liverpool star spoke of his dreams of heading to the World Cup, home life with his girls and secrets behind how he is going to manage being away from his family while on tour.
"I'm so proud to lead this young team in Brazil," Steven told HELLO! talking before the England versus Peru game last Friday. "It's what dreams are made of. The plan is to come back and make the country proud of the team."
