June 2, 2014

Kylie Minogue has denied reports that she is leaving her UK record company Parlophone. The Australian singer, 46, set the record straight after rumours emerged that she was ditching the label due to poor record sales of her latest album Kiss Me Once. "Whoaahhh... @parlophone!! According to 'sources' we r 'breaking up'! Not true. Exciting times ahead! #LOVEu4EVA," wrote Kylie on Twitter to her  two million followers.

Parlophone, who has worked with Kylie for 15 years and is also behind Blur, Coldplay, Tinie Tempah and other artists, retweeted the post. "@kylieminogue we #LOVEu4EVA too :) #teamkylie," they responded. Speculation that Kylie had resigned was first published by The Sun, who quoted an unnamed source. According to the report, Kylie felt disappointed by the sales of her twelfth album, which shifted 60,000 copies in the UK. Her second single from the album I Was Gonna Cancel also failed to reach the Top 40.

Nevertheless, the blonde beauty has seen healthy ticket sales for her Kiss Me Once World Tour which kicks off in September. Her latest album was said to be inspired by her emotions after splitting in 2013 from long-term boyfriend Andrés Velencoso, however Kylie recently admitted that she is still coming to terms with her heartache. When asked if she was still processing the breakup, she said, "It's not that long ago. I'm past the crying every night stage. Thankfully Andres and I are still in touch. Obviously, not like we used to be. He's a great guy and that's important. I'm enjoying that I'm so distracted. I'm not sitting at home pining."

Kylie reveals real reason for move back to AustraliaKylie has recently relocated to her native country where she is working as a coach on The Voice Australia alongside will.i.am, Ricky Martin and Joel Madden. The singing competition aired at the start of May. She had previously been a judge on the UK version of the show but left after one series, citing that filming would interfere with her upcoming tour.
