Olly Murs was left stunned as he was tackled to the ground by Jose Mourinho in a charity football match on Sunday night. The duo were taking part in the Soccer Aid game held at Manchester United's ground Old Trafford, with Olly playing for the England team and Jose coaching the opposing Rest of the World team. Chelsea manager Jose, who couldn't resist getting a piece of the action, ran onto the pitch and tripped Olly up as the singer attempted to kick a ball.
The Troublemaker crooner, 30, was sent tumbling onto the turf, as Jose, who is famed for his over-the-top behaviour, coolly walked away with a smug look on his face. Spectators who were supporting the Portuguese legend's team cheered and howled in delight at the unforeseen foul play. Flailing around on the floor, Olly showed no signs of bitterness as he laughed and looked around in bewilderment. The cheeky Essex lad posted a light-hearted message on Twitter after the game. "Loving the fact JOSE MOURINHO smashed me from behind!! Can't wait to see it back!!" he wrote.
Olly seemed only too pleased to have met the "Special One" as he shared a photo of the pair before their scuffle. "Yep this happened last night!! Finally a picture with the special one," he captioned it. The singing star also took the opportunity to thank his 5.6million followers for supporting the annual charity match, which is held in aid of Unicef. The game featured a mixture of celebrities and footballers playing on both teams. Olly was joined by McBusted's Danny Jones, comedian Jack Whitehall, masterchef Gordon Ramsay and other famous faces on the pitch. The final score saw England score two goals against the Rest of the World's four goals.
