Collabro have denied claims that they were told to dump their girlfriends in order to win over a bigger female following. The musical theatre band, who were crowned the winners of Britain's Got Talent on Saturday, have made no secret of their relationship statuses in the past, with three out of the five members already taken. "The people we are dating really are our biggest supporters," Thomas Redgrave, 24, told Metro. "They're behind us 100 per cent."

While Richard Hadfield and Matt Pagan, both 20, also have girlfriends, fans will be relieved to know that heartthrobs Jamie Lambert, 23, and Michael Auger, 24, are still on the market. "We've never lied about it," said Michael. "We're quite open about our relationships." Speaking on Lorraine, the petrol station worker also added that he had quit his job now that the group had discovered their new-found fame.

Collabro, who walked away with a £250,000 cash prize after singing Stars from Les Misérables, are due to have meetings with Simon Cowell's record label Syco. Previous reports have suggested that the band are close to signing a six-figure contract with the music mogul's company. "Simon is very excited," said showbiz reporter Dan Wooton, who caught with Simon after the final. "I think I could see the pound signs flashing in his eyes. "I think there's no doubt that these boys will secure a big record deal. I think there's a gap in the market for them."

The singing stars are clearly over the moon with the support they have been receiving from their fans, nicknamed Collaborators, and have been thanking their followers on social media. "Still can't believe this is real and it's all thanks to YOU!!! Thank you so much :D," they wrote after the win, followed by another photo of themselves soaking in their victory on stage. "WE DID IT!!!! #COLLABROFAMILY," the band captioned the celebratory snap.

Collabro will perform in front of the Queen and members of the royal family at the Royal Variety Performance.
