Olivia Newton-John and her daughter Chloe Lattanzi enjoyed some quality mother-daughter time on Wednesday – and where better for the Grease star and her singer/model daughter to hang out than in a recording studio.
The blonde duo were joined by Grammy-nominated producer Dave Aude, who has also worked with award-winning artists including Coldplay, Katy Perry and Will.i.am.
Chloe, 29, took the opportunity to snap a selfie of herself and her mum sharing a close embrace. "I love you mama #bestfriends," she captioned the cute photo. Looking a natural in the studio, Chloe – who released her debut single Wings And A Gun in 2010 – shared another picture of herself sat in the producer's chair in a pair of high-waisted jeans and a cropped T-shirt.
Chloe is no stranger to the music world. She landed a record deal at the tender age of 15 – but failed to produce her debut album No Pain, that was intended for release in 2007.
She was clearly on cloud nine to be recording again – and in such great company. Posting a picture of herself alongside Dave and her singer/actress mum on Instagram, she wrote: "In the studio making magic with queen bee an @daveaude".
Chloe, who has a troubled history with substance and alcohol abuse, spent seven months of last year in rehab. The pressure of growing up in the spotlight is said to have prompted her to spiral out of control.
She has spent the past few days reconnecting with her proud mum in Los Angeles.
Olivia recently admitted that her daughter is her biggest accomplishment in life. In a recent feature in the Malibu Times, she said: "People always ask me what my biggest accomplishment is, and the first thing that comes to mind is my daughter." "If she's happy, I'm happy."
