Exciting news for Britain's Got Talent winners Collabro. Following their success on the ITV talent show, the boys have signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco. Already Collabro are hard at work; Simon has got them in the studio, with their first album scheduled for release in July.
"Collabro were worthy winners of Britain's Got Talent," Simon told The Sun. "I am delighted to welcome then to Syco and am looking forward to starting work on their debut album." The musical theatre boy band - Michael Auger, Richard Hadfield, Jamie Lambert, Thomas Leak and Matthew Pagan – are clearly thrilled."
We are so lucky and proud to join a family of amazing, talented artists and colleagues and we're thrilled to be working with Syco in order to take Collabro to the next level," Jamie said of the signing.
A public vote saw Collabro crowned worthy winners of the eighth series of Britain's Got Talent, earning them £250,000 and a place at this year's Royal Variety Performance. Lucy Kay was the runner-up with Bars and Melody in third place.
