Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have finalised their divorce, almost three years after calling time on their marriage.A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge finally signed off on the paperwork this week, officially drawing their relationship to a close – although the details of the negotiations were ironed out in March.J-Lo, 44, and singer and actor Marc, 45, announced that they were going their separate ways in July 2011 after seven years of marriage. In a joint statement the couple said at the time: "This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters."
Marc then took the next step of filing for divorce nearly a year later in April 2012, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.The settlement sees J-Lo take primary custody of the pair's six-year-old twins Max and Emme, while Marc will look after them for seven days each month.J-Lo is officially a single lady, having recently split from her boyfriend of more than two years, Casper Smart.A source told People magazine: "They initially split about six weeks ago, but that can take a little time to extricate. But they've definitely broken up."
The source added: "The relationship had just run its course."People had previously reported that the 44-year-old American Idol judge and Casper, 27, had "hit a rough patch" a few months ago. "Now, all this stuff comes out... They're still together, technically, but no idea for how long." said the source on Thursday.Promoting her tenth album, the Love on the Floor singer said that her divorce from Marc marked a real turning point in her life. "My topic is love. It always has been," the singer said.
