Eminem's daughter Hailie Scott Mathers has graduated from high school in Clinton, Michigan. The accomplished 18-year-old, who was also crowned homecoming queen last October, achieved the above-average Summa Cum Laude status. Wearing her school's white robes and graduate cap, Hailie marked her big day by posting a couple of photos of herself and her friends on Twitter.

The pretty blonde paid tribute to her parents Eminem – whose real name is Marshall Mathers – and his twice-divorced wife Kim.

When asked who her most important influence in her lifetime was, Hailie wrote on her school website, "My mother and father are because they have pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have."

Hailie, who plans to study "psychology" or "entrepreneur" at Michigan State University, was also presented with the Academic Excellence Award and Department of Psychology Award. She has also been a member of the art club, key club, volleyball team, student council and national honour society, according to the school's website.

When Hailie was named homecoming queen last year, her proud dad Eminem – who has paid tribute to his daughter in hits such as Mockingbird and Hailie's Song – kept a low profile and watched the welcoming back ceremony from the side. "Hailie came out with her mother Kim when she was introduced with all the other kids but her father watched from inside the school because he didn't want to cause a scene," a parent told the Macomb Daily News

"He wanted Hailie to have her own moment." Overjoyed mother Kim, meanwhile, was pictured hugging and kissing the top of her daughter's head as she was announced queen.
