Kim Kardashian has opened up about the challenges and rewards of motherhood. The reality TV star, who is proud mum to one-year-old daughterNorth West, was speaking to parenting blog Romy and the Bunnies when she made the revelations. "I love being a mom!" said Kim. "It's the most rewarding feeling! I really love every phase! Just the way my daughter laughs with me, all of the small things in life you appreciate!"
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 33, added that the highlight of her day was nap time with baby North. "We cuddle and fall asleep holding each other," said Kim. "It's my favourite time just snuggling with her." Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the social media savvy star posted a heart-warming snap of herself cuddling and kissing North on the neck. "Night!" Kim captioned the photo of the duo looking ready for bed.
The doting mum and fashion designer, who took a hiatus after she had her baby, added that her
biggest challenge was "spending any time away" from North when she went back to work. "But you adjust and prioritize, and just figure it out," added Kim. "You become more selective and work on projects that are so meaningful because you want every other waking moment spent with your family." Just last month Kim, her rapper husband Kanye West and members of the Kardashian-Jenner crew came together to ring in North's first birthday.
The theme of the day was "festival" and dubbed "Kidchella" by the family – a play on the annual Californian music festival Coachella.

Amidst the Ferris wheel, swimming pool and bouncy castle set up in Kim's house, North channelled festival chic in a fringed outfit chosen by her mum. "Our baby girl's 1st birthday party! #kidchella," wrote Kim alongside a photo of North looking every part the fashionable celebrant.
In the sweet snap, Kim and Kanye looked firmly focused on their little girl, who they affectionately call Nori and who appeared to be taking in her colourful surroundings.
