Tamara Ecclestone helps raise £897,000 for Great Ormond Street

Tamara Ecclestone teamed up with her sister Petra Stunt at a fundraising event for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital on Thursday night.Formula One magnate Bernie Ecclestone's daughters stepped out alongside stars including Harry Potter actors James and Oliver Phelps, Tess Daly, Vernon Kay, Natalie Pinkham and Emma B for theF1 Party at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Petra and Tamara, who were accompanied by their respective husbands James Stunt and Jay Rutland, both turned heads in their glamorous outfits. Mother-of-one Petra, 25, opted for a dazzling gold dress while new mum Tamara sported a chic long-sleeved black number.

Geri Halliwell and her partner Christian Horner, who is the head of Red Bull's F1 racing team, made a rare red carpet appearance, with the former Spice Girl wowing in a dusky pink dress.After the guests had taken their seats inside, husband and wife duo Tess and Vernon, who are patrons of the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital charity, were tasked with hosting the evening's fundraising entertainment and auction.

The party was a huge success and 30-year-old Tamara revealed the staggering total amount of money raised on Thursday morning. "Amazing night last night," she tweeted.

 "We raised £897k for @GreatOrmondSt thank you to everyone who helped achieve this."

Vernon and Tess, who are parents to daughters Phoebe and Amber, also expressed how happy they were to have been a part of the event. "Amazing night last night," wrote Vernon. "More than £800k raised for @GreatOrmondSt A joy to host. Bravo @TamEcclestone 4million raised in10yrs with 1 party!"

Now in its tenth year, the F1 party offered exclusive prizes including afternoon tea for four at The Savoy with Harry Collins, personal jeweller to Her Majesty The Queen, followed by a private guided tour of the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London, a three-night chalet stay in the French Alps and a round of golf for two with Jamie Redknapp at Queenwood Golf Club.Invitees also bid for exclusive F1 experience days, memorabilia and limited edition signed merchandise.
