British No. 1 tennis player Heather Watson has opened up about her experience of Wimbledon this year. The 22-year-old star, who lost out to Germany's Angelique Kerber in her second round, has admitted that there is one Hollywood hunk she'd like to see courtside. "I'd love it if Bradley Cooper watched one of my matches," laughed Heather, chatting to HELLO! Online. "I know he loves tennis and he's been following Wimbledon. I remember last year he came with Gerard Butler."

She added: "I did bump into Samuel L Jackson on the stairs before playing this year, which was really cool." Following her defeat, the Guernsey-born athlete travelled back to her hometown of Saint Peter Port to watch the men's final match on Sunday, which saw Novak Djokovic soar to victory against Roger Federer. "I watched the whole match and it was such good quality," said Heather. "I kind of wanted Federer to win because I feel like he hasn't won Wimbledon in a while, but Djokovic deserved it and he played unbelievably."
Heather Watson on the all-white rule: 'I had to borrow another tennis player's knickers'
Heather, who is currently positioned 56th in women's singles in the world, added that she did suffer a slight fashion faux-pas when it came to adhering to the all-white rule – whereby players are not allowed to wear coloured knickers on court. "I actually had to borrow another tennis player's knickers because I didn't have all-white ones," laughed Heather. "You don't expect them to check and say, 'Okay, let me see what you're wearing under your skirt,' but they actually do.
"I think you'd get fined otherwise, which is a bit over the top but I guess it looks smart."

The tennis ace, who started playing when she was six and decided to go professional at the tender age of eleven, opened up about her other passion – make-up. Speaking at Benefit Cosmetics' pop-up bar Gabbi's Head in London, Heather said, "Make-up and sport, you wouldn't put it together but especially for me being an athlete, I love to dress up. I'm always wearing no make-up and sweating so when I go out, I go all out. "Now I wear a little bit on court but I didn't used to, because I thought my mascara would run everywhere, but Benefit came out with the They're Real mascara which is perfect." Heather, who partnered with the San Francisco brand in 2013, added: "For me the eyes are the most important feature, so I always have something for my brows, eyeliner, some Bad Gal mascara and I always carry around a bright lipstick because I just love it."
