Sharon Stone is ready to give love another chance. After taking time out of the dating scene to spend time with her three children, the actress says she is ready to start the search for a new significant other. "What's happened is my kids have reached the age where I feel comfortable to date," the 56-year-old star told Extra. "I didn't want to date when they were little. Who needs a bunch of people running in and out of their lives?

"Now I feel comfortable dating," she said. "I am available for dating." Sharon has been married twice before; to TV producer Michael Greenburg from 1984 until 1987, and Phil Bronstein from 1998 until 2003. She is mum to three adopted sons, Roan, 14, Laird, nine, and Quinn, eight.The actress isn't likely to stay single for long; super fit Sharon looks better than ever. Not that she didn't initially struggle to come to terms with the ageing process.Speaking to Shape magazine earlier this year, the actress said getting older has been a change she forced herself to embrace.

"It hasn't been easy," she admitted. "There was a point in my 40s where I went into the bathroom with a bottle of wine, locked the door, and said, 'I'm not coming out until I can totally accept the way I look right now.'"And I examined my face in the magnifying mirror, and I looked at my body, and I cried and cried and cried. Then I said to myself, 'You're going to get old now. How do you want to do that?' And I thought, 'I'd like to age like a dancer'. I want to keep my body in shape like that. I want to do the work. I like to dance and stretch. And I like going to the gym."
