Actor Dave Legeno, who played werewolf Fenrir Greyback in three of the Harry Potter films, has died at the age of 50.US police have confirmed that the London-born actor was found in a remote part of Death Valley, California, where he had been hiking.The Inyo County Sheriff said two walkers discovered the father-of-one in the early hours of Sunday 6 July and alerted officers who used a helicopter to locate and recover his body.
In a statement, Inyo County Police said that the cause of Dave's death has not yet been confirmed, although reports have suggested the actor died as the result of heat stroke."The remains have been identified as David Legeno, a 50-year-old United Kingdom man.
It appears that Legeno died of heat-related issues, but the Inyo County Coroner will determine the final cause of death. There are no signs of foul play,"Dave, who was also a mixed martial artist, was due to star in upcoming film Sword of Vengeance.
Co-star Tom Felton called Dave "a great talent with a heart of gold"
Dave's fellow Harry Potter actor Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy, led tributes to the actor, who has a daughter called Wendy.
"Gutted to hear the sad news about Dave Legeno," posted Tom on Twitter. "He was a true Big, Friendly, Gentleman.
