"You just know. When it happens, it happens. Whether it's been years or just a few hours!" She added: "I understand why people are excited by it all. I’m very happy for her because it's great news. She's gotten married and it's pretty exciting." The singer-songwriter explained that she was engaged to fiancé Craig Monk for two years only because of her career commitments: "Me and Craig were engaged for two years but that was only because I was so busy with work that we had to postpone. "We wanted to be married much sooner than we were. People tried to talk about our age but I feel I am old enough to make my own decisions and I'm so experience in life that I can make the right choice."
