Cameron Diaz wasn’t best pleased when elements of her personal life were brought up during a recent radio interview. The 41-year-old actress seemingly cut the Kyle & Jackie O show chat short when the hosts brought up her good friend Drew Barrymore’s troubled past, as well as her new romance with Benji Madden.Taking part in the talk with Australia’s KIIS 106.5 alongside her Sex Tape co-star Jason Segel, Cameron admitted that the young actress in her fresh film was similar to Drew in in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, but was offended after comments that came afterwards.

"Aw, yeah!" Cameron agreed about her 39-year-old Charlie's Angel co-star and Giselle Eisenberg. "She does, now that you mention it. And she's as bright and lively as Drew is, as well. She's a sweet little girl. "Kyle Sandilands took the comparison too far though, leaving Cameron silent when he brought up a sensitive reference to Drew entering rehab twice aged 14.

"Let's hope she misses out on the Drew Barrymore drug years, because those were a great thing to watch, but not so good to be in, I'd imagine," he joked. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. "The blonde beauty maintained her composure as she defended her friend who couldn’t do so herself at the time. "I'm sure, Kyle, you've never been through a drug phase, have you? Or alcoholism or anything like that? Pretty clean… always did it right? Congratulations," she sarcastically said to stick up for mother-of-two, Drew.

It was then that the presenter made another jab by suggesting she shouldn’t challenge him because he had a friendship with her Good Charlotte rocker partner."Hang on a second, but I'm friends with Benji," he pointed out. Cameron, who has been spotted being affectionate with The Voice Australia judge but has not yet verbally confirmed they are officially a couple, responded: "We have to go now…. sorry, they're wrapping us up."
