After her secret wedding, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, formerly Cheryl Cole, has another reason to love her life. The X Factor judge has reached number one with Crazy Stupid Love, her single featuring Tinie Tempah.
The newlywed was jubilant at the news, tweeting "We did it". She also retweeted another supporter who wrote: "Soldiers don't play we slay. We official, we official" in reference to what the singer calls her fans. It's the fourth time she's topped the solo charts after Fight For This Love, Promise This and Call My Name.
Her chart success comes after she and husband Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini hosted a second wedding celebration for family and friends at The Library club in St Martin's Lane. Cheryl was a vision in an elegant black gown, that ended in layers of chiffon and she accessorised with the huge smile that has barely left her lips since becoming Mrs Fernandez-Versini.
Onlookers noted that she still had the Mrs Cole tattoo on the back of her neck from marriage to Ashley Cole. The pop beauty is said to be torn between lasering it off completely or covering it with a new inking.
As her soldiers know, Cheryl loves her tattoos and recently showed off a huge rose design that covers her entire lower back and derriere. She admitted to Graham Norton that the rose cost "thousands, probably the same amount as a small car" and took 15 hours to create.
Whatever she decides, the 31-year-old won't be rushed. It's taken her until now to drop Ashley's surname. Asked why she didn't do it before, Cheryl recently explained: "[It feels] like I own [the name]. And I've built a lot of my life around it... I mean, my passport! You have to send your passport off for weeks. "I don't have weeks to send my passport off."
