Two weeks after moving into their new dream house in Essex, Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright were back in her home city of Manchester to attend an event together on Wednesday evening. The couple, soon to be husband and wife, helped get the party started for radio station Heart North West's launch at Rosso restaurant.
Mark hosts his own Club Classics show every weekend for the station, and was only too happy to show his support at the bash. "I absolutely love being part of Heart," he told the Manchester Evening News. "It's the most family-friendly company to work for, to be part of it is a dream come true." Mark and Michelle, both 27, have recently returned from a holiday in Spain with friends, and looked tanned and very happy at the launch.
Former Coronation Street actress Michelle chose a white silk camisole and a pastel blue skirt for the party, her hair tied back from her face in a high ponytail. Her dapper fiancé complemented her outfit in a blue shirt, jeans and a navy blazer. Both stars happily posed for photographs with fans outside Rosso – owned by footballer Rio Ferdinand– before heading in to join other guests.
HELLO! Online blogger Michelle recently wrote about her big move down south.
"So it's official! I have moved away from Manchester!" the star told fans. "Don't get me wrong, Manchester will always be my home… I love the city, the people, the night-life, the culture, the Mancunian accent and the wicked northern sense of humour! However, it's time for a new chapter in my life." She added, "My new home is amazing and I am very, very happy getting things organised and choosing fixtures and fittings for our first home together… everyone keeps asking me will I miss my family and friends, but they are all organising to come down and stay, so I really do think I will actually see more of them!"
