When Kim Kardashian tied the knot with Kanye West in May, there was one noticeable absentee from the star-studded ceremony – her brother Rob Kardashian. Now Kim has spoken for the first time about her sibling's last-minute decision not to attend her wedding day.
Asked by talk show host Andy Cohen whether she had reconciled with Rob, Kim replied, "He sent me a long email the morning of (the wedding), that he was going to leave. There was no fight. "She continued, "I just thought, 'You know what, this is my day, I'm not even going to worry about it'."It was reported at the time that Rob had decided to skip the event because he was struggling with his weight and didn't want to be photographed.
Seeming to confirming that was the issue, Kim added, "I totally understand that he wouldn't want to see a lot of people if he was feeling uncomfortable and you can only pray and wish that someone would not miss out on more memories in life, because life is all about memories. "Kim is often seen giving Rob some " tough love " on their reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. But despite that, she said she wasn't " non-empathetic " about her brother's struggles. "My brother and I are so close, he's one of my best friends," she insisted. "I'm definitely a tough love kind of person. If I don't like something that's going on in my life, I change it, and I don't sit and complain about it for a year."
