Mrs. Doubtfire star Mara Wilson was too devastated last week to talk about the death of her on-screen father, Robin Williams, and has turned down interviews since the tragic news.But the 27-year-old, who was just six when she starred alongside the much-loved actor, has opened up in posts on her blog, saying that Robin "always reminded me a little of my father". "Robin Williams, as I knew him, was warm, gentle, expressive, nurturing, and brilliant," wrote the actress.

"Robin would do anything to make me and the other kids laugh. "He seemed to know instinctively what we would find funny, and never had to resort to saying anything that was inappropriate for children. He was, after all, a father himself." In her most recent post, Mara shares the emotions she felt at learning the sad news of Robin's death – he was found dead at his California home last Monday after taking his own life – "When I heard about Robin’s death, I was shocked, confused angry, regretful, and above all, sad."

Robin's daughter Zelda shared a touching The Little Prince quote on her Instagram page, which ended with the words, "I love you. I miss you. I'll try to keep looking up. Z." Soon after, she left social media for a while, writing, "I will be leaving this account for a bit [sic] while I heal and decide if I'll be deleting it or not." Zelda captioned an Instagram photo of a butterfly.
