Joe Manganiello 'practises' Magic Mike moves on new girlfriend Sofía Vergara

Sofía Vergara is one lucky lady. The actress' new boyfriend Joe Manganiello, who will play a starring role in the Magic Mike sequel, has admitted that he "practises" his dance moves on his stunning Colombian belle. Joe, who plays a popular stripper in the comedy, added that he had had his eye on Sofía long before they started dating in the summer.

"We had talked, I guess, or kinda bumped into each other but we didn't start dating until she was single," the True Blood star told E! News of his and Sofía's meeting at the White House Correspondents Dinner in May. "She had a boyfriend at that time, so I probably could've gotten into a fight for doing that. I'm not trying to start a fight at the White House."

Shortly after, the Modern Family actress announced their split on her WhoSay account, writing, "We have being having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and because of my work and now his, it's been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore." She added: "We are still very close but we believe it's the best thing for us right now." Sofía caused a frenzy when she was spotted out and about over the weekend wearing a mammoth rock on her ring ringer. Fans were quick to note that the 42-year-old beauty had only been dating Joe for a couple of months. A source close to Sofía set the record straight, revealing that the purple topaz came from her new collection for Kay Jewelers that she was promoting.

Life has been plain sailing for the star, who in 2013 was crowned as the highest-earning actress on television for the second year running by Forbes. "I have a television show that has been successful for the past five years," Sofía told People earlier this month. "And it's allowed me to do all the things I've wanted to do with my career. It's been a lot of fun these past five years." "I'm very happy romantically," she added. "It couldn't be better!"
