When Spanish actor Antonio Banderas took to the dance floor with a mysterious companion at the Cannes Film Festival back in May, fans of the handsome Spaniard wondered who the lucky lady was.The newly single actor, who split from wife Melanie Griffith earlier this year, has been spotted on more than one occasion with the attractive blonde, most recently in Saint Tropez.

HELLO!'s sister publication ¡HOLA! can now identify Antonio's pretty dancing partner as Nicole Kimpel, an investment consultant of Dutch nationality. Nicole has in no way fuelled or been the cause of the split between the actor and Melanie Griffith, since, according to sources close to the actor, the pair met after Antonio's separation.

Only time will tell whether Antonio and Nicole's friendship will blossom into a more serious relationship, but judging by recent appearances, the pair are very much enjoying each other’s company.
Antonio and Melanie Griffith split earlier this year after 18 years of marriage
In June, 56-year-old actress Melanie filed for divorce from Antonio,after 18 years of marriage. The pair said in a joint statement: "We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalize our almost twenty years marriage in a loving and friendly manner honoring and respecting each other, our family and friends and the beautiful time we have spent together - Melanie & Antonio".
Melanie seems to be doing well since the split. When interviewed by IndieWire the actress said: "It's not about my career now. It's just about finding great work and having a good time. My kids are almost grown, I'm getting divorced. I'm just happy. I'm really joyful. Life is good."
