George Clooney and his bride Amal Alamuddin will tie the knot within the next fortnight.
The actor and his fiancée attended a black-tie charity gala in Florence on Sunday, and as he accepted an award for his humanitarian efforts, George spoke lovingly about his future wife.

"I met my lovely bride-to-be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying in a couple of weeks, in Venice, of all places," said George, as he accepted an award.
The star's tribute has caused some confusion. While there are reports that he'd revealed the location for the wedding, it is thought he was actually speaking about the city where he first met Amal, long considered to be one of the world's most romantic destinations.
It's believed that the couple have chosen another Italian location close to their hearts for their nuptials – George's Lake Como villa.

George was honoured at the event with an inaugural Andrea Bocelli Humanitarian award. Proud Amal looked stunning in a strapless black Dolce and Gabbana gown as she supported the star.
It is thought that Amal will walk down the aisle in an Alexander McQueen wedding dress; last week the beautiful British lawyer and her mother Baria spent two hours at the fashion house's London headquarters.
The September wedding will come one month after the marriage of his close friends, and fellow Hollywood superstars, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
