Nicole Kidman has started making preparations for the funeral of her late father Dr Antony Kidman. The Australian actress, 47, touched down in her native country on Sunday with her husband Keith Urban and the couple's two daughters Sunday Rose and Faith. Tony, as Nicole's dad was called, unexpectedly passed away last week after reportedly suffering a fall in his hotel room. He had been visiting his younger daughter Antonia in Singapore, where she is based.

Nicole immediately flew out to Sydney to be with her mother Janelle and has been pictured visiting her mum's home. The incredibly close family have rallied together, with Antonia travelling from Singapore with her husband Craig Marran and their children. On Monday, Nicole and Keith met with their minister Father Paul Coleman to discuss plans for Tony's funeral. Since his passing, friends and relatives have sent flowers, gifts and kind messages of support to Janelle's home. When it emerged that Tony had died, Nicole's publicist Wendy Day confirmed the sad news, saying: "The family is in shock and is grieving... I think that some time and privacy is needed to deal with this shock and tragedy."
Nicole Kidman was supported by her husband Keith Urban, who cancelled his gig to be with her
It is believed that Tony, who was a clinical psychologist at Royal North Shore Hospital, suffered a heart attack although the cause of death is still being investigated. He was taken to hospital in Singapore but was pronounced dead a short while later. Country singer Keith cancelled his gig in California when he was told of his father-in-law's passing, and immediately rushed to be at his wife's side. "I'm so very sorry that I cannot perform this weekend," Keith posted on his Facebook page. "We are in a deep state of grief at the passing of Nic's Father and are heading to Australia to be with family. "We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for their love, prayers and support through this devastating loss. - KU."
