Rosamund Pike and David Tennant play a married couple about to divorce in the comedy
She was joined by her fellow cast members, Scottish actors David Tennant – who rocked up in a tartan kilt complete with belt and sporran – and Billy Connolly. The film sees Rosamund and David play a married couple with three children who travel up to the Scottish Highlands for the birthday party of Billy's character, who plays the grandfather. The pair are in the midst of a difficult divorce and have asked the youngsters to keep it a secret but inevitably, the feuds kick in and the children become the biggest liability. Producer David Thompson noted how Rosamund, who is mum to two-year-old son Solo, had a particularly affinity with the youngest cast members. "She was great with the children," he told The Telegraph. "She has a great luminosity on screen."
