Kelly Brook has announced that she is no longer engaged to former fiancé David McIntosh. The model broke the news via Twitter on Friday evening. "It's a sad Day but I wanted to share with you that David and I are no longer engaged," Kelly tweeted from the US. "I love and respect him and wish him all the best. "Kelly, 34, quickly took the step of removing the many photos of the ex-Gladiator from her Instagram account. She also stepped out in Los Angeles without her engagement ring.
Just a few hours later she changed the mood with a positive message to her fans: "Positive changes- Good people -Happy Life- Creative Work." She also shared that she had been dining with her friend, Canadian actress Elisha Cuthbert. "Gorgeous Dinner tonight at Cecconis with @HappyElishas," she wrote, followed by a heart-shaped emoticon.
Kelly's news will come as a surprise to her fans. Just last week the pair enjoyed a holiday in Greece together and posted beach snaps of themselves looking very much in love on social media sites. In June the fashion entrepeneur and her then-fiancé spoke of their whirlwind romance in an exclusive interview and photoshoot with HELLO! magazine. Kelly shared details of the romantic proposal, and revealed that she had begun to consider the design of her wedding dress.
Speaking of the engagement, which took place inside David's Manchester home, she said: "I think it took both of us by surprise, to be honest, how quickly things have progressed." David proposed to Kelly just 12 weeks after the pair met at Kelly's London bar, Steam & Rye, on New Year’s Eve. Just two weeks before, the couple had parted ways and Kelly had deleted photos of David from her Instagram account.
