Lindsay Lohan put in a dazzling appearance at a party to celebrate the opening of her West End play, Speed the Plow. The US star, 28, blew kisses for the cameras at London's National Liberal Club after the play's all-important press night on Thursday.

She cut a glamorous figure in a fitted champagne-coloured sequinned dress that clung to her curves, and a glittering pair of peep-toe heels.
Lindsay’s casting in David Mamet’s play has generated a great deal of attention, and after much speculation, the actress finally faced her critics this week.
Despite mixed early reviews for her very first appearance in the play, when she came under fire for forgetting her words and relying on a prompt, Lindsay's press night performance has generally been hailed as a success.

Certainly, she was in high spirits as she joined her co-stars Richard Schiff and Nigel Lindsay as they celebrated together afterwards.
Lindsay is set to appear in Speed the Plow until November, and appears to be greatly enjoying the experience.
Speaking to the Mirror recently about those early negative reviews, she said, "Everyone is going to be judgemental, no matter what.

"I respect people have an opinion, but I'm doing the best I can and will for the duration. I'm doing this because working makes me feel happy and this is a new venture for me."
