Just days after premiering her new single I Don't Care, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has released the accompanying music video.The feel-good song has a video which is equally as feel-good, with a summery vibe. The X Factor judge revealed on the release day that the fun tune sums up how she feels about life at the moment.
"I'm a woman now," she says. "I'm at that age where things don't bother me like they used to. I still care about things, but I've discovered what's important to care about, and what's most definitely not." The new single is taken from 31-year-old Cheryl's upcoming solo album, Only Human, due for release later this year. The track itself comes out on 9 November.It's no wonder that Cheryl "doesn't care" about certain things so much these days. Only Human will be her fourth solo album – establishing her position as a pop princess.
Crazy Stupid Love, her single featuring Tinie Tempah, also reached number one in the charts, making it the fourth time she topped the solo charts after Fight For This Love, Promise This and Call My Name. She has also worked with renowned hit-makers such as Sia, Greg Kurstin and Invisible Men, as well as with new artists and producers from Red Triangle to Electric. The former Girls Aloud singer has plenty of reasons to love her life right now, both personal and professional. The Geordie beauty recently married handsome restaurateur Jean-Bernard in an intimate ceremony in Mustique, and has looked blissfully happy ever since.
