Jennifer Lawrence has opened up on the hacking scandal, saying: "Just because I'm a public figure, just because I'm an actress, does not mean that I asked for this.
"The celebrity world was rocked when dozens of female celebrities had their iClouds hacked and revealing pictures were leaked. "It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It's my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can't believe that we even live in that kind of world," Jennifer added.
Speaking to Vanity Fair, The Hunger Games actress, who was one of the most high-profile victims of the scandal, also told the magazine that she considered writing a statement at the time but "every single thing that I tried to write made me cry or get angry. "I started to write an apology, but I don't have anything to say I'm sorry for," she said.
"I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years.""Time does heal, you know," Jennifer continued.
"I'm not crying about it anymore. I can't be angry anymore. I can’t have my happiness rest on these people being caught, because they might not be. I need to just find my own peace."
The 24-year-old Oscar winner dated fellow actor Nicholas Hoult for four years, and the pair starred together in the X-Men series. The actress is now rumoured to be dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
Chris is apparently so smitten with the young actress that he has told his estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow that he would like their children Apple, ten and Moses, eight, to meet her in the near future. "Chris has fallen hard for Jen, and they are having a lot of fun together," a source told RadarOnline.
The source told the website: "It won't be happening right away, Chris wants to make sure this relationship is going to just fizzle out before taking such a big step."
