Ed Sheeran has has revealed that Strictly Come Dancing inspired music video for his latest song Thinking Out Loud.

"My original concept was to have a couple walk in and do some made ballroom dancing," Ed revealed. "At first I was going to get two talented dancers but as was the idea was formed, I thought hmm maybe I should have a crack at this.
"If rugby players can do it onStrictly Come Dancing then maybe I can too."

In a departure from his typically more dressed-down appearance, the 23-year-old British singer donned a shirt, waistcoat and smart trousers as he took to the dancefloor for a five-minute long ballroom dance.
Ed was clearly excited to announce the video's release "This has been my biggest video launch to date," he tweeted.
"So chuffed with the reaction."

But whilst West Yorkshire-born Ed is pleased with the finished product, however, perfecting his moves took a lot of determination.
"Dancing can be the most fun thing in the world," he said. "But in the lead-up to finishing this video, I was so frustrated. I have never wanted to quit something so much.
"At some points, I felt like saying to the choreographers 'You do this, I'm going to stand in the background'."
